Naked Mens Sketch Group

I've always loved figure drawing. i occasionally go to various drawing groups to check it out and keep my hand in the waters.
a few years ago i saw an ad on craigslist for the "Naked Men's Sketch Group". it took me about a year before i finally had the guts gathered to go. it was great fun.
a bunch of guys meet in someone's apartment and everyone strips down to skin. one by one each attendee takes a turn posing while everyone else draws, then it's someone elses turn, etc.
it's a great way to get a variety of body types in one 3 hour session.
it keeps it free, as most drawing groups require $10 or $15 towards the models fees.
it gives artists a chance to learn what it's like to be on the other end of the fence. striking an interesting pose is not necessarily easy, and holding for 20 minutes or longer is even harder.
it's the ultimate in male-bonding... with everyone naked it kind of levels the field.
it's totally legit. it's about drawing the figure-- not a precurser to sexual activity
i've only been twice but would love to go more often. the guys have been so sweet and friendly and attitude free (perhaps due to the fact that we all have to be nekkid). most importantly, i've been very pleased with the drawings i've done there.
